It contains a detailed cast of the San Giorgio tipo C sight, which was the standard armament of the I series. Designed for advanced modelers with resin experience. The Macchi C.205V Veltro was one of the best Italian fighter aircraft of World War II. It was created as an improved version of the C.202 Folgore by fitting a more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine, which significantly improved the machine's performance. The first series (Series I) was armed with the standard Italian San Giorgio Type C sight, a reflective collimator used by Regia Aeronautica. This sight was characterized by its distinctive shape and location in the cockpit in front of the pilot's windscreen.
The Aires resin add-on brings a more detailed and accurate version of the San Giorgio tipo C sight compared to the conventional plastic parts in 1:32 scale kits. The casting captures the fine details of the optics, frame and mounting points that plastic molds often cannot faithfully reproduce. Installation requires removing the original plastic part, cleaning the resin casting, and accurately fitting it into the cockpit according to the kit manufacturer's instructions.
