We have Vallejo Diorama FX Moss Green (26.312), a loose mineral granulate in the extreme fraction of 2-5 mm, which has been created for terrains affected by high humidity, heavy rainfall and water flows. This texture looks as if it has been freshly quarried from a mountain stream, where a subtle greenish tinge of moss and moist soil clings to each stone.

This coarse grain is designed for spectacular 3D effects: simulating large boulders, broken banks or massive rocky obstacles. It is ideal for larger scale dioramas where you need real volume. With this texture, your models will look like they're plowing through terrain that's so lifelike you can almost feel the moisture in the air.

Important geology lesson (How to anchor it): although these rocks look huge, they are just loose particles that won't hold themselves up. To create a solid and durable terrain that retains its dull and damp appearance, it is essential to anchor them! Once the terrain has been shaped, apply a fixing medium - such as Vallejo Terrain Fixer - using capillary action. The fixer will soak into even the largest gaps, firmly anchoring the boulders and preparing the surface for further patination and wetting techniques.
