Suitable for Warhammer, Age of Sigmar and other miniature projects. Easy brush application directly from the cup.
Technical: Stirland Mud is a special texture paint from the Citadel Technical line that allows modelers to create authentic muddy, churned up and swollen ground effects on miniature bases. Unlike standard acrylic paints, Stirland Mud contains dense pigments and fine particles that, when dry, create a three-dimensional surface with a natural texture reminiscent of real mud, dirt and the rutted ground of a wartime battlefield.
The paint is ideal for finishing the bases of figures from both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, where it helps set the models in realistic environments. Stirland Mud is particularly suitable for scenes depicting trench warfare, muddy battlefields, country roads or desolate landscapes. The texture of the paint allows for layering - once the first layer has dried, more can be added for added depth and dramatic effect.
Application is simple - the paint can be applied with a brush directly from the cup to a cleaned base or to an already applied base. Once dry, it produces a matte finish that can be further modified by dry brushing with lighter shades to enhance textures, or combined with other Technical colours and effects such as grasses, leaves or static vegetation.
The pack contains 24 ml of paint. It is advisable to shake the cup before use. Technical: Stirland Mud can be combined with the full range of Citadel paints and is an essential tool for anyone who wants to give their models a professional look with an emphasis on atmosphere and story.
