Tamiya 87044 belongs to the Fine Surface Primer for Plastic & Metal range. Tamiya highlights its fine, smooth finish, which unifies the model surface including puttied areas. On parts moulded in dark plastic it helps the topcoat achieve its true colour.
The white version is intended for light colour schemes. According to Tamiya, the primer also adheres well to metal, making it a suitable base for metal models and parts, where it reduces paint peeling. The can holds 180 ml.
