Tamiya 87029 Blunt Brush S
The Tamiya Blunt Brush S (87029) is a blunt modelling brush with horse-hair bristles and a wooden handle. Its tip is finer than a flat brush yet thicker than a pointed one, which suits small parts with complex shapes.
Tamiya 87029 belongs to the Tamiya Modeling Brushes range. Tamiya lists it as a blunt brush with short bristles (Blunt Brush, Short), placing it between a flat and a pointed brush in terms of tip shape. The bristles are horse hair, and the wooden handle is shaped to reduce strain on the hand during longer sessions.
It earns its place wherever a flat brush is too wide and a pointed one needlessly fine: small, intricately shaped parts on aircraft, military vehicles, cars and figures in any scale.
