The car, which takes its name from a successful Le Mans race car, features all-wheel drive, and its body—made entirely of lightweight metal alloy—gives it a truly impressive appearance. Last but not least, the powerful sound of its high-revving V8 engine partly explains the enthusiasm the Audi R8 inspires in so many people. This agile two-seater sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, and its speedometer needle doesn’t stop until it reaches an incredible 300 km/h. But what also makes this car exceptional is the innovative technology it’s literally packed with. This includes, among other things, an electronically adjustable suspension system that uses magnetic fluid in the shock absorbers.
