Information about the original:
The P-47 was powered by a powerful radial engine and was the heaviest single-engine fighter aircraft of its time. Starting in January 1945, the P-47M variant was equipped with an even more powerful “R2800-57C Double Wasp” engine featuring a turbocharger. It was armed with eight 0.5-inch machine guns, which also significantly improved its attack capabilities. During the final month of the war, the P-47M Thunderbolt was even more successful than ever before and successfully destroyed many Me 262s.

The heavily armed P-47 was the heaviest single-seat fighter aircraft of World War II. The P-47M was its final production model. It served with the famous 56th Fighter Wing of the U.S. Air Force.
