The Bismarck (1:1200) is a 1:1200 scale plastic model kit of the ship from Revell’s lineup. The kit is designed to be glued, painted, and finished according to the instructions.

Right after the Tirpitz came the Bismarck, the flagship of the German Navy, which was the largest German battleship. Its displacement reached an impressive 50,900 metric tons, and its crew numbered 2,092. The Bismarck was commissioned on August 24, 1940, and left port for the first time on May 18, 1941, during Operation “Rheinübung.” However, along with another German ship, the Prinz Eugen, it was soon spotted by British reconnaissance aircraft. During an encounter with the British battlecruiser Hood on May 24, 1941, the Bismarck was still successful and managed to sink its opponent. This was followed by a long pursuit, during which the Bismarck was hit by a torpedo from a British bomber on May 26, 1941, and was then cornered and shelled by the battleships King George V and Rodney. On May 27, 1941, it was finally scuttled by its own crew 490 km off the French coast.

Revell Aqua Color Acrylic Paint for Modelers (5 ml)
Instructions for use: Water-mixable acrylic paint. Stir the paint well before use. Apply with a brush or spray onto a dry, clean surface. Non-flammable base, dries quickly—cannot be repainted after 1 hour, dries completely in 2–3 hours, depending on the thickness of the coat. Dilute with water if necessary. Using an unsuitable thinner may ruin the paint! Clean with Revell Aqua Color Clean thinner. For spraying, a maximum dilution of 20–25% is recommended. Rinse brushes and tools with water immediately after use. Close the container tightly after use. Use as soon as possible after opening; the paint dries when exposed to air. Protect from freezing. Contains a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one with magnesium chloride and magnesium nitrate. May cause an allergic reaction.

Revell Contacta Professional Liquid Plastic Adhesive
Instructions for Use: Suitable for precise gluing of model kits. Package includes a needle applicator. Apply the adhesive to one surface. Press the surfaces together with gentle pressure. The joint dries in 5–10 seconds and cures completely within 1 hour. Read and keep this information.
