In 1964, an attractively designed coupe intended especially for younger drivers was unveiled to the public at an international auto show in New York. This sporty and fuel-efficient Ford Mustang, the forerunner of the so-called “Pony Cars,” went on sale in April 1964, and within six months, Ford sold an incredible 680,000 units. In 1965, a more powerful version appeared: the GT 350, built by Carroll Shelby, featuring a 4.7-liter V8 engine. Hertz car rental ordered 1,000 GT 350 H (for Hertz) cars in the distinctive black color with gold trim to allow its customers to rent “race cars,” and they very quickly took a liking to this exceptional Mustang with 306 horsepower under the hood.

Revell Aqua Color Acrylic Paint for Modelers (5 ml)
Instructions for use: Water-based acrylic paint. Stir the paint well before use. Apply with a brush or spray onto a dry, clean surface. Non-flammable base, dries quickly—cannot be recoated after 1 hour, dries completely in 2–3 hours, depending on the thickness of the coat. Dilute with water if necessary. Using an unsuitable thinner may ruin the paint! Clean with Revell Aqua Color Clean thinner. For spraying, a maximum dilution of 20–25% is recommended. Rinse brushes and tools with water immediately after use. Close the container tightly after use. Use as soon as possible after opening; the paint dries when exposed to air. Protect from freezing. Contains a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one with magnesium chloride and magnesium nitrate. May cause an allergic reaction.

Revell Contacta Professional Liquid Plastic Adhesive
Instructions for Use: Suitable for precise gluing of model kits. Package includes a needle applicator. Apply the adhesive to one surface. Press the surfaces together with gentle pressure. The joint dries in 5–10 seconds and cures completely within 1 hour. Read and keep this instruction sheet.
