Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base - USSR 380x320mm

The Russian Air Force name in Cyrillic script and a five-pointed star outline are reproduced on the dark asphalt. The marking looks faded and scuffed, as if painted directly onto the asphalt surface. The motif suits models of Russian Air Force aircraft in particular. Although the manufacturer labels the base USSR, the printed lettering names the Russian Air Force.

The base measures 380 × 320 mm and consists of a 5 mm extruded PVC board with a UV print. The print has a three-dimensional effect and a semi-gloss finish that the manufacturer describes as resistant to UV light, paints and washes; the manufacturer also notes that the board is easy to cut down to a smaller format. It is intended for 1/48 scale models without being tied to a specific kit, and no model is included.
