Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base - Austria 380x320mm
Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base – Austria is a 380 × 320 mm display base printed with dark asphalt. The ÖSTERREICHISCHE LUFTSTREITKRÄFTE lettering and a triangle-in-circle insignia stand out on its surface.
The ÖSTERREICHISCHE LUFTSTREITKRÄFTE lettering and a triangle-in-circle insignia are reproduced on the dark asphalt. The marking looks faded and scuffed, as if painted directly onto the asphalt surface. The motif suits models of Austrian Air Force aircraft in particular.
The carrier board is 5 mm extruded PVC. The colour UV print with a relief-like effect has a semi-gloss surface which, according to the manufacturer, tolerates UV light and contact with paints and washes. The 380 × 320 mm area is sized for 1/48 scale, and the base is not linked to any kit manufacturer. It comes without a model.
