Eduard BIG72180 PBM-5A 1/72 brings together five Eduard upgrade sets for the Martin PBM-5A Mariner amphibian in 1/72 scale in one value bundle (recommended for the Academy kit):
Set contents
- CX382 PBM-5/PBM-5A – masks
- 72735 PBM-5A exterior – photo-etched set
- 72736 PBM-5A bomb bay – photo-etched set
- 73821 PBM-5A interior – photo-etched set
- SS822 PBM-5A STEEL seatbelts – Zoom set
The photo-etched sets share out the exterior, the bomb bay and the fuselage interior, a Zoom set adds STEEL seatbelts, and the masks make painting easier. The Martin PBM Mariner was a twin-engined US Navy patrol flying boat with a distinctive gull wing; the PBM-5A version gained a retractable tricycle undercarriage, so it could also land on solid ground.
The base plastic kit is not included.
