Italeri Sd. Kfz. 10 Demag with Le. IG18 and Crew 1:35
This plastic kit combines the German Sd.Kfz. 10 Demag D7 light half-track, the Le.IG 18 light infantry gun and a 9-man crew. It is designed as a complete towed artillery scene rather than a standalone vehicle, giving you the tractor, gun and personnel in one package.
The vehicle and its role
The Sd.Kfz. 10 was widely used by German forces during World War II, serving on major fronts from Poland through North Africa to the Eastern Front. It was developed as a prime mover for small towed weapons, including anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns, while also being able to carry up to eight fully equipped soldiers. The Le.IG 18 was employed as infantry company fire support, and Demag or Protze tractors were used to move it.
What is included
The kit includes decals for 3 versions, tracks made from individual links and sections, and colour assembly instructions. The inclusion of 9 figures is especially useful for anyone planning a complete display, because the crew can be shown directly with the towing combination without the need to add extra figures.
