The Dassault Mirage F.1 is a French supersonic multi-role fighter aircraft, developed as the successor to the famous Mirage III/5 series. It entered service with the French Air Force in 1973 and soon became one of the most widely exported aircraft of its time — it served in dozens of countries across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Unlike its delta-wing predecessors, the Mirage F.1 features a conventional swept-wing design and a horizontal tail stabiliser, which gave it improved take-off and landing characteristics and a significantly greater range. It saw combat in a number of conflicts — including the Iran–Iraq War, the Gulf War and various African conflicts — and remains in limited service in some countries to this day.
The 1:72 scale CMK kit features detailed landing gear struts and wheels manufactured from ABS resin using 3D printing technology. 3D printing allows for the reproduction of fine details that standard plastic kit parts usually cannot achieve — including tyre tread patterns, strut structural elements and other surface details. The kit is designed for all editions of Special Hobby’s 1:72 scale Mirage F.1 kits and serves as a direct replacement for the original plastic parts. The pack does not contain paints or adhesives.
