Italeri 6095 British Infantry 1815 is a set of 1/72 plastic figures of British infantry from the Napoleonic Wars. It depicts soldiers of the 2nd Regiment Coldstream Guards with their Brown Bess flintlock muskets.
The steady squares of Wellington's infantry withstood Marshal Ney's repeated cavalry charges at Waterloo and decisively influenced the outcome of the decisive battle of the Napoleonic Wars. One of the best-known units was the 2nd Regiment Coldstream Guards, which took part in the defence of Hougoumont farm.
Italeri shows these guardsmen with their trusty Brown Bess flintlock muskets. The 1/72 figures suit Waterloo dioramas as well as historical wargaming, where they can be combined with other Italeri Napoleonic Wars sets such as British cavalry or Scots infantry.
The colourful uniforms offer plenty of scope for detail despite the small scale. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
