Information about the original:
The four-wheel-drive Lancia Delta HF is considered one of the icons in the history of rally racing. It was produced in the second half of the 1980s and competed in the World Rally Championship from 1987 to 1988, during which time it won two championship titles and achieved outstanding results in a number of important races, such as the Monte Carlo Rally and the San Remo Rally. The Lancia Delta Integrale was the successor to the HF model. It was introduced in 1988 and completely dominated the World Rally Championship; by 1993, it had won several Manufacturers’ Cups and an impressive number of stage victories. The new model differed from its predecessor in a number of aesthetic details that made it look even more muscular and aggressive, such as larger fenders and newly shaped air intakes on the hood. However, steering and engine performance were also improved. The 1,995-cc turbocharged engine was boosted to 185 koní. The Lancia Delta Integrale was a car that dominated the World Rally Championship between the 1980s and the early 1990s and led many famous drivers, such as Miki Biasion and Juha Kankkunen, to victory.
