Fokker D.VII (OAW) 1/72
Eduard 70131 Fokker D.VII (OAW) 1/72 is a plastic kit of the German First World War fighter. ProfiPACK edition with five marking options, photo-etch and masks. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
The Fokker D.VII appeared at the front in spring 1918 and served with German fighter units until the end of the war. Besides Fokker, it was licence-built by Albatros and by OAW (Ostdeutsche Albatros Werke). The Eduard 70131 kit focuses on the OAW-built aircraft.
This 1/72 ProfiPACK kit contains Eduard plastic parts, pre-painted photo-etched parts, masks and Eduard decals for five options. All belong to pilots of German fighter units in October and November 1918: Ltn. Wilhelm Leusch (Jasta 19), Ltn. Franz Büchner (Jasta 13), Ltn. Max Näther (Jasta 62), Ltn. Alfred Greven (Jasta 12) and Uffz. Alfred Bäder (Jasta 65).
The colourful personal markings of late-war German aircraft give the modeller plenty of scope for careful brush and airbrush work. The small 1/72 scale also allows a whole collection of First World War aircraft to be built in little space.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War I.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
