The Brassin parts replace simplified plastic weapons and bring together the laser-guided GBU-12, a JDAM bomb, GBU-39 small diameter bombs on the BRU-61 rack and medium- and short-range air-to-air missiles, so the model can be armed for ground attack as well as air combat. The F-35B is the short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) version of the fifth-generation F-35, in service with the US Marine Corps and also with the United Kingdom, Italy and Japan.
The base plastic kit is not included.
