AK Interactive AKG25 Weathering Effects Set - AK Gouaches (6 × 20 ml) is a set of six AK Gouache shades for rust, grime, smoke trails, and winter camouflage on models, miniatures, dioramas, and wargaming terrain. Opaque pigments with a water-based binder create rich, matte layers and allow you to work without organic thinners.

Once dry, the paints can be reactivated with water at any time. This allows you to further blend, tone down, correct, or layer the effects. The paints can be applied over standard acrylic, enamel, and oil-based paints, as well as on plastic, paper, and cardboard.

Recommended Procedure

1. Clean the surface of dust and grease.
2. Apply the shades separately with a brush or mix them to achieve the desired effect.
3. Add water for softer patterns and transitions. Once dry, the effect can be re-moistened and adjusted with a clean brush.
4. Build up the layers gradually; use lighter and darker shades to create depth and natural color variations.
