AK Interactive AKG08 Moss Green - AK Gouache (20 ml)

AK Interactive AKG08 Moss Green - AK Gouache (20 ml) combines opaque pigments with a water-based binder to create a rich, textured, and very matte finish suitable for weathering plastic models, figures, dioramas, terrain, and wargaming miniatures. The manufacturer recommends this specific shade for moss, vegetation on tree trunks, damp organic traces, and overgrowth on abandoned vehicles or scenes.

The paint can be applied over standard acrylic, enamel, and oil paints, as well as on plastic, paper, or cardboard. It dries quickly, but even after drying, it can be reactivated repeatedly with plain water. This allows you to further blend, soften, and adjust color transitions without using an organic thinner.

Recommended Procedure

1. Remove dust and grease from the surface before application; the manufacturer recommends washing with soap and water.
2. For full coverage, apply the paint in a thin layer with a brush. For more translucent effects, drips, and soft transitions, dilute it with water.
3. After drying, adjust the effect with a clean brush dampened with water. The paint can be locally smudged, blended, or partially removed.
4. Multiple shades can be mixed together and layered until the desired depth of patina is achieved.
