Contrast: Guilliman Flesh is part of the innovative Citadel Contrast series, which is revolutionizing miniature painting. This paint is specially designed to provide both rich base color and realistic shading and gradients in a single application. When applied to a light Contrast base (such as Grey Seer or Wraithbone), the paint flows spontaneously into the dips and folds of the model to create natural shadows, while remaining lighter on raised areas to create highlights.

Guilliman Flesh is a shade designed primarily for painting human skin, leather and organic surfaces. Its warm, natural tone makes it ideal for Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Aeldari, or any other faction with human or humanoid characters. The color is named after Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines, and its hue matches the canonical depiction of skin in the Warhammer universe.

Contrast color technology greatly speeds up the painting of entire armies and individual models. While traditional techniques require gradual layering of base color, shadows, and highlights, Contrast paint achieves a similar effect in one step. This is especially useful for painters who want to quickly prepare game armies, or for beginners who are just learning the basics of painting miniatures.

Guilliman Flesh can be combined with other paints from the Citadel range - once the Contrast layer has dried, it is possible to add extra detail using Layer colours, highlight edges using edge highlighting techniques or deepen shadows using Shade colours. The paint is also suitable for glazing and creating subtle colour transitions.

The package contains 18 ml of paint in a plastic bottle with a dropper that allows precise dosing onto the palette. The bottle must be shaken properly before use. The paint is applied with a brush to a pre-prepared light base, preferably in one continuous layer to allow it to blend properly and create natural shadows.
