Base: Wraithbone (12ml) is a base paint from the Citadel Base Paints range designed for the base layers of miniatures. Wraithbone is a warm, creamy beige ideal for bright colour schemes, painting bones, parchments and as a base for contrasting techniques. The pack contains 12ml of acrylic paint.
Base: Wraithbone is an acrylic base paint from the Citadel Base Paints range, which forms the basis of the classic Games Workshop miniature painting method. This paint is formulated with a high pigment content, which provides excellent hiding power on the first coat and allows for a solid, richly colored base for subsequent coats of paint.
Wraithbone is a warm, creamy beige shade that has become a popular base for bright army color schemes, especially for factions such as Stormcast Eternals, Space Wolves, and Adeptus Custodes. The color is ideal for painting bone structures, skulls, parchments, light cloaks and armor. Due to its neutral but warm nature, Wraithbone works well as a base for Contrast Paints techniques, where it allows full application of color depth and shading in one stroke.
Base: Wraithbone can be brushed directly onto the model being primed (black or white primer) and produces a smooth, matte finish with no visible brush marks when applied correctly. The paint is suitable for plastic, metal and resin models and layers well with other paints in the Citadel Colour range. Thanks to the consistency optimised for base coats, the paint is easy to apply and dries quickly.
