• High variability: if you let the texture dry in a thicker layer, you get the look of fresh, moist soil. If you paint over it with a lighter shade using the drybrush method after it has dried, you get the look of dry, dusty earth.

• Combination: Dark Earth is the perfect base for all types of static grass, shrubs and foliage. It pairs well with pigments to represent dust or with gloss varnishes to create the effect of wet mud and puddles.
