Concrete is a symbol of modern war and industry. AK-Interactive Concrete (AK1229) allows modelers to achieve the authentic look of grey cast concrete without having to experiment with real cement or plaster. The texture has just the right grit to scale to match real concrete surfaces - neither too rough nor completely smooth.

This product is indispensable for:

• Historical modelling: building Atlantic Wall bunkers, Flakturm anti-aircraft towers or bombed-out factories from World War II.

• Wargaming (Sci-fi and Modern).

• Post-Apocalypse: Crumbling highway overpasses and abandoned concrete riverbeds.

Product details and tips for working

Wargame Terrains series textures are popular for their easy application and high durability on the gaming table.

• Easy application: apply the texture with a spatula or flat brush. To achieve the look of concrete panels, you can etch out expansion joints after application and slight waviness.

• Detail realism: You can emboss impressions into the texture before it dries (e.g. wire mesh for a rebar texture) or "embed" brick debris and metal rods.

• Staining and patina: The natural grey shade of concrete is a great base for additional patina. We recommend using black washes to show moisture in the corners or rust spalling where iron would protrude from the concrete.

• Combination: concrete looks fantastic when combined with our Asphalt or Dark Earth textures to create seamless transitions between road and open terrain.

Important note: The package does not contain paint or glue. The tools used in working with this acrylic can be easily cleaned with clean water when the job is finished.
