AK Interactive AK9198 Super Chrome (60 ml) AK Interactive Super Chrome is an ultra-glossy alcohol-based metallic paint with a resin component. When applied correctly, its ultra-fine particles align evenly with the surface to create a strong mirror effect with high covering power.
The paint is UV resistant and suitable for different materials. It performs best on a perfectly smooth, uniform and clean surface, as a mirror finish highlights every imperfection. Suitable for chrome automotive parts, motorcycles, rims, piston rods, sci-fi models, figures and small details.
Recommended procedure
- Mix the paint thoroughly; avoid unnecessary shaking that introduces bubbles.
- Smooth, degrease and remove dust from the surface.
- Apply very fine, even coats with an airbrush and allow each coat to flash off briefly.
- A soft brush can be used for small details; avoid overworking the coat.
- Allow the surface to cure thoroughly before handling and test the complete finish on a spare part first.
To adjust consistency or clean tools, use only AK9199 Super Chrome Thinner/Cleaner.
