A glossy surface is ideal before applying decals and washes, as it minimizes the trapping of air and pigment in a rough, matte surface.
This is a synthetic spray varnish with fast curing and good adhesion. The package includes a standard and a fine spray nozzle. Work in a well-ventilated area and protect the surrounding area from sprayed material.
Recommended Procedure
- Clean and degrease the surface, then let it dry completely. Test for compatibility on a sample piece first.
- Shake the can for at least one minute. Hold it upright while working.
- Apply quick, thin coats from a distance of approximately 25 cm. A single thick coat may obscure details or run.
- Allow approximately 5 minutes between coats; let the spray cure thoroughly before masking, applying a patina, or handling.
- After use, turn the can upside down and spray briefly until no more material comes out of the nozzle. This will help prevent clogging.
