Recommended Procedure
- First, prepare the base with paint; painting beneath the gel creates optical depth and affects the final shade of the water.
- Apply the gel with a putty knife or an old brush in a layer 0.1–3 mm thick. For better flow, it can be carefully thinned with water or acrylic thinner.
- Adjust the surface while it is still workable. Build up a stronger effect only after the previous layer has dried.
- Let it dry for approximately 24 hours; the actual drying time depends on the thickness, temperature, and humidity.
