AK Interactive AK8023 Terrains Neutral Texture for Earth (250 ml) creates custom earth tones tinted with acrylic paint. This neutral acrylic paste combines color and texture in a single step and is designed for dioramas, vignettes, figure bases, and wargaming terrain.
Recommended Procedure
- The surface must be solid, clean, and free of dust. Smooth or non-absorbent surfaces should be roughened or primed beforehand.
- First, mix the paste thoroughly. Add acrylic paint in small amounts until the desired shade is achieved.
- Apply with a putty knife or an old paintbrush. A thin layer will even out the surface, while a thicker layer will create its own texture.
- While the paste is still wet, adjust the texture with a damp tool. You can increase the fluidity by adding a small amount of water or acrylic thinner.
- Build up the thickness gradually, and add the next layer only after the previous one has dried.
Tint the neutral white base by gradually adding small amounts of acrylic paint, mixing thoroughly each time.
