    AK Interactive AK8033 Light & Dry Crackle Effects (100 ml) creates a light-colored, dry, and cracked soil effect with a dry, light appearance. It is suitable for the surfaces of dioramas, vignettes, figure bases, wargaming terrain, and the undersides of vehicles where a cracked layer of soil is intended.

    Recommended Procedure

    1. Paint the surface with acrylic paint and let it dry completely. The base color will be visible through the cracks.
    2. Gently stir the product before use and apply it in an even, thin layer. Do not spread the product further after application.
    3. The thickness of the layer determines the size of the cracks: a thinner application creates a finer network, while a thicker layer produces more pronounced cracking.
    4. Let it dry naturally or carefully speed up the process with a hair dryer. Too strong a stream of air can displace the wet layer.
    5. Once completely dry, the surface can be further enhanced with pigments, washes, or drybrushing.
