AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series RLM 81 Version 3 (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11837 RLM 81 Version 3 is an acrylic in the third version of RLM 81 from the final phase of the Second World War. The manufacturer links it with aircraft such as the Fw 190 D, Me 262 and Ar 234.
The shade belongs to the 3GEN Aircraft Series, which AK Interactive has assembled from specific aircraft colours of different air forces and periods. The manufacturer designs these third-generation acrylics for brush and airbrush.
AK Interactive has included the paint in the AK11718 WWII Luftwaffe Late War Colors set, which holds six camouflage colours of German aircraft built from around late summer 1944 until the end of the war. The manufacturer reproduced the three versions of RLM 81 from officially approved formulas used depending on the components available to a particular paint maker; two are khaki tones and one is a dark green, in the past erroneously identified as RLM 83. The set also contains two versions of RLM 76 and RLM 82.
