AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Neutral Grey 43 (17 ml)
AK Interactive 3GEN Aircraft Series AK11862 Neutral Grey 43 is an acrylic for aircraft modellers, supplied in 18 ml. Together with Dark Olive Drab 41, Neutral Grey 43 was a basic camouflage colour of the US Army Air Force in the Second World War.
Neutral Grey 43 comes from the Aircraft Series, the aviation part of AK Interactive's 3GEN acrylics. The paint is supplied in an 18 ml dropper bottle whose cap, according to the manufacturer, makes the shade quick to identify.
The paint is part of the AK11732 WWII USAAF Aircraft Colors Vol.1 set. According to AK Interactive, the USAAF used these shades from 1941 until late 1943, in practice until the end of the war. The manufacturer recommends the set for models of the P-39 Airacobra, P-43 Lancer, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang, B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator and many other American aircraft.
