AK Acrylics 3GEN AFV Series Nº8 Earth Red (FS 30117) (17 ml)
The red-brown AK Interactive AK11338 Nº8 Earth Red (FS 30117) from the 3GEN AFV Series acrylics (18 ml) suits WWII US camouflage as well as MERDC patterns.
For the 3GEN range the manufacturer states very high pigmentation, coverage and resistance; the paints are non-toxic and suitable for brush and airbrush. Nº8 Earth Red (FS 30117) is supplied in an 18 ml bottle with a cap that makes the colour quick to identify.
In the AK11653 MERDC Camouflage Colors set it is one of the eight colours that, according to AK Interactive, made up the MERDC patterns – mostly four-colour schemes in which two main colours each covered 45 % of the vehicle and two accent colours 5 % each. The manufacturer also includes it in the AK11668 WWII US Army and USMC Camouflage Colors set for WWII US vehicles.
