AK Acrylic Washes Standard Rust Wash 18ml
AK Interactive AK19315 Standard Rust Wash is an acrylic wash from the AK Acrylic Washes range (18 ml) for simulating rust, especially on metal surfaces. It gives a natural rust tone with reddish shadows.
Standard Rust adds a core rust shade to AK Interactive's acrylic wash range. The manufacturer intends it mainly for reproducing corrosion on metal and states a matt result, time to work the effect and an odourless formula. The bottle holds 18 ml.
Its reddish shadows bring out rusting metal on vehicle models and, according to the manufacturer, tanned or treated leather as well; it shows to good effect on shields, weapons, crates and scenery bases. The wash works over any base colour and is complemented by the lighter Light Rust Wash (AK19316).
