This bus was inspired by the original AEC Routemaster, which featured an open rear platform allowing passengers to hop on and off freely.

Wrightbus introduced the new Routemaster, inspired by the original AEC Routemaster, in 2012. A very distinctive feature was the open rear platform, which allowed passengers to hop on and off freely, just as they could on the original Routemaster.

These beautiful new building sets have been carefully designed so that children ages 6 and up can build the model piece by piece, allowing them to construct these icons of England’s capital all on their own. And they won’t need any glue!
