Model Information:
H.M.S. Victory was launched on May 7, 1765. This flagship of Admiral Nelson became famous for its role in the Battle of Trafalgar. Although this historically final major battle of sailing ships ended in Napoleon’s defeat, it cost Nelson his life. H.M.S. Victory, which took part in many battles against the Spanish and French fleets, is still listed as a ship on active duty. It is currently part of the National Maritime Museum and serves as the flagship of the First Sea Lord.
