Model Information:
The Belfast, one of the cruisers in the third group of the Town-class ships, saw action during World War II at the Battle of North Cape, protected convoys in the Arctic Ocean, and also played a key role in the Normandy landings on D-Day. It was later refurbished and served in other conflicts, such as the Korean War. Today, this famous ship has been preserved and is moored on the River Thames near London’s Tower Bridge.
