Information about the original and the model:
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 series, one of the finest fighter aircraft in military history, was continuously developed throughout World War II, with the “Gustav” being the final major and most-produced variant.
The 109G, flown by many of the Luftwaffe’s most skilled aces, was adapted to fulfill a variety of operational roles and was heavily deployed against the massive USAAF bombing raids launched against targets deep within Europe.
