Special Hobby 1/72 Westland Whirlwind FB Mk.I Fighter-Bomber is a plastic model of a twin-engine British fighter-bomber, created to meet the requirements of the British Air Ministry before World War II. The Whirlwinds were deployed over the English Channel for fighter and combat duties and later modified to the FB Mk.I variant with bomb-carrying capability.
The kit includes two frames of plastic parts, one frame of clear parts, 3D printed parts, PUR parts and photo-etched parts. Included are decals for four camouflage variants - two in green-brown and two in green-grey, updated to reflect the new bases. The model is suitable for display and diorama in 1/72 scale. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
