1/72 Fw 190D - R4M Rockets (3d printed set)
IBG 1/72 Fw 190D - R4M Rockets is a 3D printed add-on set of R4M rockets designed for Focke-Wulf Fw 190D fighter aircraft in 1/72 scale. It allows modellers to add realistic armament from the end of WWII to their models.
In the final phase of World War II, the German Air Force began using unguided R4M Orkan missiles to increase the combat effectiveness of fighters against Allied bomber formations. With a range of around 1.5 km and an effective warhead, the R4Ms were carried on launchers under the wings and represented an innovative, if limited, weapon.
IBG's 1/72nd scale kit includes precision 3D printed parts of the R4M missiles and their carriers, allowing modellers to add authentic weaponry to Focke-Wulf Fw 190D kits. The fine details and sharp lines of the parts greatly enhance the realism of the resulting model and approximate the appearance of the actual machines that were deployed against Allied bombers in 1945.
This accessory is the ideal choice for modelers who want to add a unique character to their "Dory" model and capture the atmosphere of the end of the war, when the Luftwaffe was looking for new means to stop the Allied superiority.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
