Description

The Avro Anson was one of the longest serving British aircraft, originally developed in the 1930s as a reconnaissance and training aircraft for the RAF. After World War II, many of the machines were converted for civilian use, where they served as transport, courier and training aircraft. The Anson XIX version was modified for civil aviation, with upgraded avionics and an interior adapted to carry passengers or VIPs.

This aircraft was used by various British and international companies, including government institutions and private carriers, where it served until the 1960s. With reliable Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah engines, the Anson XIX was economical and suitable for short hauls.

The Valom 1/72 Avro Anson XIX (Civilian Users) kit features precision-machined plastic parts, detailed cockpit, interior and authentic decals for several civilian operators.

The high level of detail and unique subject matter make this model ideal for modelers interested in civil aviation and post-war transport aircraft.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
