1/72 Airco DH.9a (early version) - Advanced kit - Clear Prop
Clear Prop 1/72 Airco DH.9a (early version) - Advanced kit is a detailed model of a British bomber from the end of WWI. The kit offers precision crafted parts, rich equipment and high level of detail. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Airco DH.9a was developed from the DH.9 as an improved day bomber that first entered service in 1918. Compared to its predecessor, it had a more powerful American-made Liberty L-12 engine, which improved its performance and reliability. The aircraft was deployed on the Western Front in the final battles of World War I and continued in service in the post-war period. Due to its robustness and simple design, it also spread to other users including the Commonwealth and was used in remote colonial areas.
Clear Prop's 1/72nd scale "Advanced kit" edition features highly detailed plastic parts, finely engraved surfaces and a precision cockpit. Also included are photo-etched parts and decals for several camouflage schemes. This model is for the more experienced modeler looking for an authentic rendition of an early version of this important WWI bomber.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
