The Zetor 25 was one of the first industrial products of postwar Czechoslovakia and the very first tractor produced by Zetor. By 1961, when production ceased, nearly 160,000 units had been manufactured, of which nearly 100,000 were exported to Europe and Asia. We are introducing the 1/48-scale Zetor 25 model because the 1/72-scale Zetor 25 models (MV128 and MV129) have been a phenomenal success with customers. Kit 8063 features the military version of the Zetor 25, which was widely used by the Czechoslovak Army. Many Zetors were used to tow MiG-15 and MiG-17 jet fighters, as shown in promotional films from that era. For this reason, this kit includes a tow bar printed on a 3D printer, as well as photo-etched parts and decals.
This is an add-on set; the plastic kit, paints, and glue are not included in the package unless the manufacturer explicitly states otherwise.
Recommended Use
- Before assembly, degrease, clean, and dry-fit the parts
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
