The Plus Model 1/48 Bomb Trailer Mk.2 is a plastic model of a trailer used to transport aircraft munitions at Allied airfields during World War II and in the postwar period through the 1960s. This type of trailer was an essential part of ground support and enabled the rapid supply of bombs to aircraft directly on the airfield.
The 1/48 scale kit contains parts to assemble four trailers, decals, and a sheet of photo-etched parts, allowing modelers to create a realistic airport operations scene. The detailed design of the individual parts and the ability to use them in dioramas from both the World War II era and the postwar years make this set attractive to more experienced modelers. The package does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
