1/48 BF109 E/F/G2 - early version, stamped disc 650X150

Miryoku wheels for the Bf 109 E/F/G-2 with stamped wheel discs replace the kit wheels for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E, F, and G-2 models in 1:48 scale. These are early versions with a stamped disc; therefore, the set helps preserve the correct appearance of the landing gear for the selected aircraft variant.

Set Contents and Design

• Contents: two complete main landing gear wheels with 650 × 150 tires, one tailwheel (350 × 135), and masks for precise painting of the rims
• Main wheels: 650 × 150 tires
• Tail wheel: 350 × 135
• Technology: 3D printing with fine detail on the tread and rim structure
• Painting masks: included in the package; facilitate clean separation of the tire and rim paint

Recommended Workflow

1. Before separating and modifying the wheels, compare them with the kit parts and verify that you have the correct variant based on your chosen design.
2. Carefully remove the 3D printing support structures, clean up the contact points with light sanding, and test-fit the parts without glue.
3. Degrease the surface and apply a thin layer of primer suitable for 3D printing.
4. First, paint one side of the wheel; once dry, use the included masks and apply the second color. Before spraying, press the masks firmly around the rim’s circumference.
5. Secure the wheels with cyanoacrylate adhesive; standard polystyrene glue will not bond 3D-printed material.

Note: The basic plastic model kit is not included in the package. To complete the model , use model paints, primers, and adhesives suitable for 3D-printed parts.
