1/35 StuH 42 Ausf. G Mid Prod (Jul-Oct 1943)

The StuH 42 (Sturmhaubitze 42) was developed from the hull of the successful StuG III and carried a 105mm howitzer, designed for infantry fire support. The Ausf. G of mid-1943 incorporated a number of design changes, including a new command hatch, reinforced armour and possibly additional Zimmerit armour. Vehicles of this type participated in combat on both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
