German WWI 7.58 cm Leichter minenwerfer n/A – all resin kit is a 1/35-scale resin model kit of military equipment from CMK.

During World War I, the German Imperial Army deployed several types of mortars. As a new type of weapon, the mortar entered service with various armies during the first decades of the 20th century. The 7.58 cm Leichter minenwerfer was one of the lighter types of mortars. It was produced in two versions: the older a/A and the modernized n/A (alte Art and neu Art). The n/A version was equipped with a turret that allowed the barrel to rotate 360°. The barrel itself was longer and also allowed for direct fire. The mortars were issued to engineer units, which used them for sieges. During the winter of 1916–17, the mortars were transferred to infantry units because, due to their light weight, they could be transported on a two-wheeled cart or carried by a squad of six men. Thanks to its direct-fire capability, it was used as an anti-tank weapon. This detailed model was created using 3D modeling and 3D printing. It allows you to assemble the mortar in either a transport or combat position (with the barrel configured for both indirect and direct fire). AFFILIATION: Germany / WWII
