Kovozávody Prostějov 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX Early Converted (Hi-Tech) is a plastic model of the famous British fighter aircraft that played a key role in World War II. The Mk.IX version was created as a reaction to the German Fw 190 and became one of the most important variants of the Spitfire thanks to the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a two-stage supercharger. The aircraft excelled in agility, climbability and powerful armament and became famous in the hands of fighter aces during the battles over Europe and the Normandy invasion.
The limited edition HI-TECH kit offers:
