Hobby Boss 1/72 Me 163B-1a Komet is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. This small tailless rocket fighter offers German JG400 markings or captured British aircraft VF241 with RAF insignia and a yellow P. It lands on a skid and uses a separate jettisonable two-wheel dolly for take-off.
The upper fuselage and wing form a single component. The simple cockpit has no separate instrument panel and is covered by clear glazing. A tailwheel is included alongside the skid and two-wheel dolly. The finished model is 81.3mm long with a 128.3mm span. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
