1/72 Fieseler Fi 167 A-0 „Luftwaffe“

The Fieseler Fi 167 was a German airborne biplane aircraft developed in the second half of the 1930s as a torpedo bomber and reconnaissance machine. Its development was closely linked to Nazi Germany's ambitions to build its own carrier fleet within the Kriegsmarine. Although airborne operations and deployment of the machine were planned for aircraft carriers, these projects were never completed, and the Fi 167 thus became a rarity chapter of German aviation rather than a mass-produced combat type.

The design was a rugged two-seat biplane intended for harsh airborne conditions and carrying armament under the fuselage. In the cockpit, an MG 15 defensive machine gun was mounted to cover the rear hemisphere, while the pilot had a fixed MG 17 machine gun for forward firing. Under the fuselage it was possible to hang a bomb load (e.g. A 100 kg bomb, a combination of SD 250 (250 kg) + 4× SC 50 (50 kg)) or a 760 kg LT F5b torpedo, making the Fi 167 a full torpedo attack machine.
