Hobby Boss 1/72 F9F-2 Panther is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The Grumman F9F Panther was Grumman's first jet fighter and the most widely used US Navy jet fighter of the Korean War. Its only foreign operator was Argentine Naval Aviation.
The kit comes on three grey sprues and one clear sprue, with an entire sprue devoted to weapons including rockets and bombs. The cockpit has raised instrument detail plus an instrument panel decal, and the wingtip tanks are separate parts. Decals cover the dark blue VF-123 aircraft from the box art and an Argentine Panther in light gull grey over white. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USA, Argentina. Period: Cold War.
